In connection to this functionality one of the most frequently asked questions is how to restrict a list of related details in a produced document template.<\/p>\n<p>This post provides instructions and examples of such an adjustment.<\/p>\n<p>Every generated document produces a formatted output of a particular record data, supplemental with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/help\/8.6.aspx\">related details<\/a> view or even with multiple details views. For instance, there is a Customer Profile record with the list of related projects. If a project is approved by a customer, the \u201cApproved\u201d checkbox is checked in this project record. But, at the same time, you need to insert a list of approved projects into a document, therefore a separate \u201cdetails\u201d view must be added. You don\u2019t need any reference columns for this, just create a relation between two tables Projects and Customers.<br \/>\n<a Condition<\/h3>\n<p>The next key step is setting a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/help\/8.4.aspx\">match condition<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To match the Customer Profile with the Customer specified in project records, the following match conditions should be added:<\/p>\n<p>Id=Customer<\/p>\n<p>Without this condition, all the existing Approved Projects will be listed as \u201cdetails\u201d in every Customer Profile, that\u2019s why a \u201crelation\u201d must include a \u201cmatch condition\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><a template<\/h3>\n<p>Generate a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/help\/9.1.aspx\">template<\/a> and place the Approved Projects \u201cdetails\u201d view into your <a
