Automatic revoke when the Status is changed to Closed in a database record<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Say you created a Status text column with Open and Closed choices to register tasks\u2019 statuses. In case a user updates a Task record directly in a database to change the Status from Open to Closed, you may need to revoke the update record action which had already been sent to a user mobile device.<br>To add this mechanism, you need to create the Status <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/help\/4.6.2.aspx\">text column<\/a> with choices and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/help\/4.6.16.aspx\">Formula-User<\/a> column.<br>This will add two choices: Open and Closed to the Status column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image (max-width: 692px) 100vw, 692px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When the Closed option is chosen and the record is saved, the system should revoke the update record request from an assigned user\u2019s mobile device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Status-Closed-7.png\"><img record request, you need to add the Formula-User column with the following formula:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><a srcset=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Formula-User-8.png 692w, https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Formula-User-8-300x182.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 692px) 100vw, 692px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now create a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/help\/11.3.1.aspx\">record change trigger<\/a>, such as this one, for decoding=\"async\" width=\"780\" height=\"547\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Trigger-9.png\" alt=\"Record changed Trigger\" class=\"wp-image-2371\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Trigger-9.png 780w, https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Trigger-9-300x210.png 300w, https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Trigger-9-768x539.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 780px) 100vw, 780px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Then add the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/help\/11.4.7.aspx\">mobile device update record<\/a> action that you need to revoke, to the trigger and select a Formula-User column in the settings of this action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Mobile-Device-10.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"692\" height=\"394\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Mobile-Device-10.png\" alt=\"Mobile Device Update Record Action\" class=\"wp-image-2372\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Mobile-Device-10.png 692w, https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Mobile-Device-10-300x171.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 692px) 100vw, 692px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As the result, when the task status is changed to Closed in a database record, all update record requests with the Closed status will be revoked automatically from the assigned users\u2019 mobile 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 780px) 100vw, 780px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that the revoking process can take up to 15 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may apply this configuration to a mobile device alert; however, only the buttons will get removed immediately from the alert, while the alert itself will disappear from the Alerts folder after 30 days from the creation
