The last day of service &amp; support is November 30, 2014.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/171.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-326\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/171.gif\" alt=\"17,1\" width=\"500\" height=\"369\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>All WebEx WebOffice customers who are looking for an alternative software can migrate to TeamDesk online database. TeamDesk offers more advanced functionality and more flexibility as well.<\/p>\n<p>In this post we describe step-by-step migration from WebEx WebOffice to TeamDesk online database.<\/p>\n<p>To backup an entire database including all database attachments from WebOffice, follow the Database Backup instructions in the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.webex.com\/LocalizedUpgrades\/2013\/Nov\/1113_WebOffice\/Backup_and_Export_Guide.pdf?TrackID=1&amp;hbxref=http%3A%2F%2Famcephysicians.webexone.com%2Fdbapp%2Fdbarchive.aspx%3F_appid%3D101%26_command%3Ddbarchivemain&amp;goid=WO_GUIDE1\">Export &amp; Backup Guide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When the backup process is finished, you can see folders comprising <i>.txt<\/i> files and archives with attachments. A corresponding table name is included in the name of each <i>.txt<\/i> file and folder, where this file is stored.<\/p>\n<p>For example there is the <i>Products<\/i> folder, comprising data from the <i>Products<\/i> table.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/172.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-327\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/172.gif\" alt=\"17,2\" width=\"237\" height=\"152\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We recommend saving all folders with files on your computer locally. Now you can use this data to create a database in TeamDesk.<\/p>\n<p>The easiest way is to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/help\/3.7.aspx\">import<\/a> <i>.txt<\/i> files into tables. The additional adjustment is needed in case your database includes attachments. Let\u2019s consider an example of how attachments can be imported.<\/p>\n<p>First <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/help\/3.7.aspx\">import<\/a> the <i>Products_AllFields.txt<\/i> file to the <i>Products<\/i> table created in TeamDesk. This table will include a text column keeping attachment names, for example the <i>[<\/i>Product<i> Picture] <\/i>column. After that you should extract the attachments from the archive to the folder on your computer. For instance, this is the <i>ProductAttachments<\/i> folder that has the following path <i>C:\\Databases\\ProductAttachments<\/i>. To connect the attachment names with the attachments data kept in the folder, link the path and names via a formula-text column. Create such <em>Formula-Text<\/em> column and add the following formula:<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;file:\/\/C:\\\\Databases\\\\ProductAttachments\\\\&#8221;&amp;[Product Picture]<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Then create a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/help\/5.2.1.aspx\">table view<\/a> comprising the <em>Formula-Text<\/em> column data and record <em>Id<\/em> numbers.<\/p>\n<p>You can exclude table records without attachments; just add a filter to the above mentioned view.<\/p>\n<p>Now you can export table view data to a <i>.CSV<\/i> file, for example to the <i>PictureNames.csv<\/i>. Moreover, you should add a new column of the file-attachment type where attachments would be stored. Let\u2019s name this column <i>[Attachments]<\/i>. To add the attachments to this column, use <a href=\"http:\/\/teamdesk.crmdesk.com\/answer.aspx?aid=11896\">TeamDesk Restore Tool<\/a>.
