Generated Document including order details<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Firstly, generate a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/help\/9.aspx\">document<\/a> you need. In your database you will use a different token.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Client%20Order<\/td><td>This is the &#8220;Client Order&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/help\/3.5.aspx\">singular name<\/a> of the table &#8220;Client Orders&#8221;, please note that spaces are replaced by &#8220;%20&#8221;.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Order%20Document<\/td><td>This is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/help\/9.3.aspx\">document name<\/a>. In this example the document name is &#8220;Document A&#8221;. So, the space is replaced by &#8220;%20&#8221;.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>[Record ID formula]<\/td><td>This is the name of the formula-text column described above.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Custom button with actions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you can configure a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/help\/11.1.5.aspx\">custom button<\/a> with actions. The button will generate a document. Let\u2019s name the button \u201cCreate Document &amp; Send Order\u201d.<br>This button will generate a document file and will insert it into the &#8220;Document File Attachment&#8221; column. Sending Order details to a mobile client app via a Mobile action.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To send a generated document as a file attachment to a user mobile phone, you need to create a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/help\/11.4.7.aspx\">Mobile record update action.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-style-default\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Mobile-Device-Update-action-6-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"914\" height=\"502\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Mobile-Device-Update-action-6-1.png\" alt=\"Mobile Device Update action\" class=\"wp-image-2830\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Mobile-Device-Update-action-6-1.png 914w, https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Mobile-Device-Update-action-6-1-300x165.png 300w, https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Mobile-Device-Update-action-6-1-768x422.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 914px) 100vw, 914px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. ReadOnly option for the Document File Attachment column<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To display the file attachment in the Mobile Update Record action, the Readonly option must be set for the &#8220;Document File Attachment&#8221; column, otherwise the generated document attachment will not be visible in the mobile update record action. Using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/help\/7.2.aspx\">Form Behavior<\/a> settings, you can activate the &#8220;Readonly&#8221; option for the &#8220;Document File Attachment&#8221; column on the Edit form. Furthermore, other columns, such as &#8220;Contact&#8221; and &#8220;Delivery Date&#8221; columns\/fields can be set as Readonly as well. How the setup works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When an Order record with ordered items is created, you can click on the \u201cCreate Document &amp; Send Order\u201d custom button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
