Now you can organize files into folders, enhancing file organization and opening up interesting scenarios when hosting web pages as resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Webpages typically store related assets in sub-folders, such as images in the \/<em>img<\/em> folder, stylesheets in the \/<em>css<\/em> folder, and scripts in the \/<em>js<\/em> folder. While you can store all files flat in one folder and modify all references, if you&#8217;re using third-party code, you can store files as the author originally intended, avoiding unnecessary modifications. Below is an example of a free website template file uploaded to TeamDesk resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"795\" height=\"731\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-1.png\" alt=\"Website template files uploaded to TeamDesk resource management page\" class=\"wp-image-3091\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-1.png 795w, https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-1-300x276.png 300w, https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-1-768x706.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 795px) 100vw, 795px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To address a file in a folder, just add the full path after the &#8230;\/res.aspx &#8211; e.g.,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/secure\/db\/12345\/res.aspx\/path\/to\/file.html<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is one special case &#8212; if a folder contains a file named <em>index<\/em> with any extension and you address the folder without specifying the file name, we&#8217;ll select the <em>index<\/em> file for you. For instance, if there&#8217;s an index.html in the \/path\/to\/ folder, trying to access<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/secure\/db\/12345\/res.aspx\/path\/to\/<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>will actually select<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/secure\/db\/12345\/res.aspx\/path\/to\/index.html<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If there are multiple &#8216;index&#8217; files in the folder, the results are undetermined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Multiple File upload<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, we&#8217;ve upgraded resource management to support multiple file uploads. Now, when choosing files, you can select more than one. If you select a single <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/ZIP_(file_format)\">ZIP archive<\/a>, there&#8217;s an option to unpack it and use its contents as individual files, retaining the archive&#8217;s folder structure if present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alternatively, by not checking the <em>Unpack ZIP archive<\/em> box, you can upload the archive intact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"811\" height=\"382\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3090\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image.png 811w, https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-300x141.png 300w, https:\/\/www.teamdesk.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-768x362.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 811px) 100vw, 811px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the <em>Upload to<\/em> box to specify the folder where the file(s) should go \u2014 either choose from existing folders or type the name of a new one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Domain-Level Resources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, we&#8217;ve added a Resources tab to the domain-level settings of TeamDesk\/dbFLEX Enterprise editions. Only domain administrators (users with <em>Manage Account<\/em> privilege) can access the resource management page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Domain resources are available at&nbsp;https:\/\/yourdomain\/<strong>secure\/res.aspx<\/strong>\/path\/to\/file&nbsp;URLs.
