Database Copy Creation

TeamDesk enables you to copy a database with all objects (tables, forms, views, etc.) and with (or without) all records stored in the tables.

To copy a database:

Click the Setup link in the top right corner of the window.

Select the Database tab.

Choose Database > Copy Database in the setup menu. The system will open the following form:

In the displayed form edit database properties as required:


Modify a database name.


Enter description or comments on the copied database.


Define if you want to:

  • Copy data of the database along with its properties and objects;
  • Disable existing notifications;
  • Deactivate users.

Click Copy to finish copying; click Cancel to cancel the operation.

When the process of copying is finished, the system will open the newly created database.
