Date Columns
Dates are an essential part of every business process, probably your database may contain due dates, delivery dates, dates of payment, clients’ birth dates, etc.
Columns of the Date type comprise a calendar button that allows database users to choose a date and helps to avoid any other kind of data entry.
The Date format is defined automatically and depends on the Language and location settings specified in a user profile. In case a user doesn’t have a profile or when a notification with Date column value is sent to a person who is not a database user, the Language and location settings specified in the database properties are taken into account to determine the date format.
If a column comprises the data that don't look or behave the way you want, you may edit column General Properties and the properties defined by the column type.
