Common Filter for several views on a Dashboard
There is an ability to specify common filter for several views from the same table on the dashboard. This setting allows you to create a specific dashboard in a table, place all necessary views created in this table and apply a common dashboard filter to these views.
Please note that the dashboard filter can be applied only to the Views created in the table, where the dashboard is created.
To adjust the Dashboard filter, edit the settings of an existing dashboard or create a new dashboard and specify the filter criteria. For example, you need to filter records by State column values.
As a result, the filter will be displayed on the dashboard:
The State field allows filtering records by the state names stored in the State column.
For instance, AZ State value is chosen. As a result, only records with AZ State are included into the views results.
