Time Tracking

The "Time Tracking" database is designed to efficiently manage and record employee or resource work hours across different projects. It provides a structured approach to tracking weekly time logs, helping organizations monitor resource allocation, productivity, and overall time spent on various projects. This ensures accurate billing, payroll management, and performance assessment.

Description

The Timecards table is the core of this database, holding detailed records of work hours logged by each resource. Key fields include the Project Name and the Resource (person or team assigned), allowing easy identification of who worked on which project. The Week Starting On field marks the beginning of each tracking period, while the daily columns (Sun, Mon, Tue, etc.) record the number of hours worked on each day of the week.

Additionally, the Total Hours For Week field automatically sums up the hours logged for the entire week, providing a quick overview of the total time worked. This table ensures that weekly time reporting is consistent and comprehensive, aiding in project management, payroll, and resource allocation decisions.
