We’ve released a lot of changes today.

One is a new option for a record picker – Type-In with Search Button.


With this option, reference to another table is rendered as text box with a magnifying glass (Search) button to the right.

User may either press the button to invoke record picker popup, or type the text in the box. When focus leaves the box, or when saving the record, the text is used to perform full-text search over related record, and selection is performed when exactly one record is found.


TeamDesk will not allow to save when there is more then one record, or no record found and there is a text in the box.
