Copy a table (duplicate / clone a table)

Use Copy to create a new table with the same columns as an existing table. You can also copy table data.

Steps to copy an existing table

  1. Click the Setup link in the top right corner of the window.

  2. Select the Database tab.

  3. From the setup menu, select Tables > Customize existing tables. The system will display a list of tables that already exist:

  4. Click on the Copy button next to the necessary table to create a new table with the same fields.

  5. If you need to copy data, select the Copy Data option.

Please note that all relations created in the original table will be automatically created in the copy of this table.
