Database Copy Creation

TeamDesk enables you to copy a database with all objects (tables, forms, views, etc.) and with (or without) all records stored in the tables.

To copy a database:

  1. Click the Setup link in the top right corner of the window.

  2. Select the Database tab.

  3. Choose Database > Copy Database from the setup menu. The system will open the following form:

  4. In the displayed form, edit database properties as required:

    • Name: Modify the database name;

    • Description: Enter a description or comments for the copied database;

    • Options: Define whether you want to:

      • Copy data from the database along with its properties and objects;
      • Disable existing notifications;
      • Deactivate users.
  5. Click Copy to complete the copying process, or click Cancel to cancel the operation.

When the copying process is finished, the system will open the newly created database.
