Suggest Columns for Existing Tables

Another valuable aspect of this integration is the ability to suggest additional columns for existing tables. Users can describe the type of information they want to store, and OpenAI’s language model assists in identifying the most suitable column types and properties.

Click the Setup link at the top right corner of the window.

Select the table you need.

From the setup menu, choose Columns > Create a new column > Suggest columns. The system will provide a list of columns that can be added to your table, along with a brief description for each column.

This functionality analyzes the name of the database, existing tables, and the names of columns in the current table to propose relevant columns for addition.

Proposed Columns

In this mode, the system can create physical, formula, or even reference columns if appropriate. It will not create lookup or summary columns at this step.
